Agent-as-a-Service

Procurement operations, run by governed agents.

PurveO runs your supplier trust, payables and intake-to-purchase operations end to end. Agents do the work on the PurveO platform, specialists take the exceptions, and your rules set the boundary. You pay for outcomes, not headcount.

Definition

What is Agent-as-a-Service for procurement?

Agent-as-a-Service is a managed procurement service in which AI agents, rather than a team of clerks, run your procurement operations: validating suppliers, processing invoices and turning requests into purchase orders, inside rules you set. PurveO runs the work on its own platform, specialists handle exceptions, and you pay per outcome.

Software

Gives you a tool.

Your team still does the work, and still carries the volume.

Outsourcing

Gives you people.

You manage them, and the knowledge leaves when they do.

PurveO Agent-as-a-Service

Gives you the outcome.

With the evidence behind every action, and the knowledge kept with you.

  • Agents do the work.

    • Reads, checks, matches, routes and posts
    • Works only inside your approved rules
    • Records the rule and evidence behind each action
    • Hands off the moment something falls outside a rule
  • A named specialist answers for the result.

    • Named person from the PurveO delivery pod
    • Resolves every exception the agent hands off
    • Verifies sensitive actions such as bank-detail changes
    • Signs the cycle report and meets you monthly
  • You keep every decision that is yours.

    • Owns policy, thresholds and approval limits
    • Approves what your rules reserve for people
    • Releases every payment. PurveO never moves money
    • Sets how far autonomy goes, rung by rung
The three services

Three services. Each runs on its own. Together, they run procure-to-pay.

Start with one: each service can be bought on its own. Supplier Trust is the foundation, so AP Automation and Intake → PR → PO start from a Supplier Trust baseline of your supplier master. Most UAE clients start with Supplier Trust and AP Automation together, ahead of e-invoicing. PurveO targets are commitment bands, fixed in writing after your week-one baseline.

Beyond the core: services that ride the same platform.

The service ladder

Start on one rung. Climb when it is proven.

Every engagement starts with one service and a measured baseline. The next rung is added only when the current one delivers.

  2. L1 Start here Supplier Trust Per active supplier kept valid. Live in 4 weeks.
  3. L2 AP Automation Per invoice made payment-ready. Live in 6 weeks.
  4. L3 Qualified requests Intake → PR → PO, part one. Every request qualified at the gate.

  6. L5 Autonomous intake-to-pay The full journey, run end to end by agents. Next.
Why PurveO

Not a cheaper BPO. Not another tool to run.

A BPO adds people to your problem. Software hands the problem back to your team. Agent-as-a-Service removes the work and keeps the evidence.

Outcomes, not headcount
You pay per active supplier kept verified, invoice made payment-ready or PO issued. Not per seat, not per person.
Agents first, people on exceptions
Agents carry the volume. A named pod takes every handoff, so quality rises while cost falls.
Governed by your rules
Authority limits and five segregation-of-duties gates, enforced at the moment of decision. Compliance is a ceiling no setting can lift.
Evidence behind every action
Each action names who took it, the rule it followed and the source it relied on. Reversible, with the trail kept.
UAE-native from day one
PINT AE e-invoicing, Federal Tax Authority and National Economic Register checks, UAE sanctions lists and UAE data residency.
The knowledge stays yours
Rules, supplier records and every decision live in your Memory Graph, not in somebody's inbox. People can leave; the knowledge stays.

Trust, standards and audit

Governed by your rules. Evidenced in every action.

The blocker to agents in procurement was never capability. It was accountability. Every action can be traced, explained and undone.

  • Attributable Every action names the agent or person who took it.
  • Explainable Every decision shows the rule applied and the evidence used.
  • Bounded Agents act only inside your rules. Compliance is a hard ceiling.
  • Reversible Every change is logged and can be rolled back.
  • Graduated Autonomy climbs one rung at a time, on evidence.

Standards we build to

  • Peppol PINT AE e-invoicing
  • UAE Ministry of Finance e-invoicing rules
  • UAE Personal Data Protection Law
  • Five segregation-of-duties gates

Validations we run

  • National Economic Register, for the trade licence
  • Peppol participant directory
  • UAE sanctions lists
  • ICV certification, through MoIAT

  • SOC 2 Type I In progress
  • ISO/IEC 27001 In progress

FAQ

Questions procurement and finance leaders ask us.

If yours is not here, the operations review is the fastest way to an answer.

A BPO moves your work to another team of people, priced per head or per transaction. PurveO Agent-as-a-Service moves the work to governed AI agents on the PurveO platform, with a small specialist pod on exceptions. You pay per outcome, every action carries its evidence, and the knowledge stays with you.

It is the same platform. With a platform subscription your team runs it. With Agent-as-a-Service, PurveO runs it for you and is accountable for the outcome. Your rules, supplier records and decision history stay yours either way.

Yes. AP Automation receives structured PINT AE invoices through your accredited service provider, and Supplier Trust keeps the supplier data behind every e-invoice valid. Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more had to appoint a provider by 30 October 2026 and go live on 1 January 2027; businesses below that threshold follow by 31 March 2027 and 1 July 2027.

Invoices must travel as PINT AE structured data through an Accredited Service Provider (ASP), with 51 mandatory fields; a PDF does not qualify. Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more had to appoint an ASP by 30 October 2026 and go live on 1 January 2027; the rest by 31 March 2027 and 1 July 2027. Penalties reach AED 5,000 a month without an ASP or system, up to AED 50,000 a year, and AED 250 a day for unreported data changes.

No. Agent-as-a-Service runs on top of your ERP and posts back to it. NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are supported today, and your ERP stays the system of record for organisation data, inventory, the general ledger and postings.

Four weeks for Supplier Trust, and six weeks for AP Automation and Intake → PR → PO, counted from signature. Each starts with a week-one baseline of your own data, then a shadow run beside your team before any agent writes to your ERP.

PurveO is. Each service has a named journey owner and a UAE-based service lead. Agents hand off to a person whenever confidence falls below your threshold, every action can be traced to its rule and source, and actions can be reversed with the trail kept.

Agents approve only within the delegated-authority limits you set, and only where you have switched that autonomy on. Everything above a limit goes to your approvers. Payment release always stays with your finance team.

Authoritative UAE sources: the Federal Tax Authority for the TRN, the National Economic Register for trade licences, the Peppol participant directory, UAE sanctions lists, and ICV certification where your tenders need it. Every result is stored with its source and date.

Your data is stored in UAE cloud regions and is yours under the contract. SOC 2 Type I and ISO/IEC 27001 are in progress; SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 42001 follow. An audit evidence pack is available on demand today.

Yes. Shared-services and global capability centre teams can hand one journey to Agent-as-a-Service, such as supplier validation for their Gulf entities, while keeping process ownership and reporting.
